Two Formats, One Catalog

Two Ways to Win a Koi

One is a hosted show you turn up to. The other runs on its own clock and you bid whenever you like. Same fish, same guarantees, completely different evenings.

Thursday Evening Koi Cast

A scheduled show with our team on camera. They walk the vats, hold the fish up, answer you live, and the bidding runs in the room with you. One show at a time, never two competing for your attention.

eBay-style. Every lot runs for a set duration with no host and no show, and you bid from your phone at two in the morning if you want to. Anti-sniping extensions keep the last minute honest.

Thursday Evening Koi Cast

One show at a time, so the cast can actually talk to the room. Register before it starts. Bidding is only open to registered accounts.

Bidding is open. Place bids in the live-bid panel — the video player is for watching, not for bidding.

Bidding in the Live Cast

Bids are placed through our live-bid backend, not in the video player. Register once and you are set for every future cast.

Powered by Auction Today

Bid on Your Own Clock

No show, no host, no evening set aside. Every lot runs for a fixed duration inside the Auction Today app, and you bid whenever it suits you. If a bid lands in the final minutes, the lot extends, so nobody wins by refreshing faster than you.

Set duration per lot. Start and end times are published up front and never move, except for extensions.

Anti-sniping built in. A late bid pushes the close out, so the lot is decided on price and not on latency.

Outbid alerts. Email and SMS the moment someone goes over you, with a one-tap raise.

Same koi, same guarantees. Quarantined, WYSIWYG and covered by the live-arrival policy exactly as a cast lot is.

How a Lot Runs

Lot opens

Start price published, photos and video already on the listing.

Bidding runs

Days, not minutes. Set a maximum and the app bids for you.

Final minutes

Any late bid extends the close. No sniping, no exceptions.

Won

Invoiced with shipping quoted up front, exactly like a cart order.
