Ammonium Chloride 500g; When starting a new Koi pond with a new biological pond filter using Fritz-Zyme Turbo Start, some hobbyist prefer using ammonium chloride as an ammonia source for the nitrifying bacteria rather than load the pond with koi. Using ammonium chloride rather than koi as an ammonia source is a much safer way to seed the bio-filter because the ammonia levels are not going to endanger the koi. Microbe Lift Algaway; For use in self-contained Koi ponds, water gardens and fountains without any outflow. Microbe Lift ALGAWAY 5.4 is for small ponds with heavy algae growth, clean the excess algae off the sides and ornaments before adding Microbe Lift ALGAWAY 5.4. It will reduce the amount of decaying organic matter. Treat only those fountains and ponds which will have no outflow after treatment.
