Sludge Away

Sludge Away from Microbe lift is an all natural additive consisting of bacteria that breaks down pond muck and sludge sitting at the bottom of your pond. Works great on rock and gravel ponds too. As a benefit, Sludge Away also conditions the water in your pond for a healthier pond environment. Can be used year round but works quicker when the weather is warmer.

Dosage Rates:
Basic application rate = One Ounce per 100 gallons of pond water.

Size of pond in gallons	First Application	Maintenance: Once per week for the next 4 weeks
1000-2000	12-25 oz	1 oz per 100 gallons water
2501-3500	25-35 oz	1 oz per 100 gallons water
3501-5000	35-50 oz	1 oz per 100 gallons water

Maintenance:
Treat with Microbe-Lift SA monthly or as necessary thereafter.

Recommended for use with all Microbe-Lift bacteria and enzyme products.
NOTE: May temporarily discolor pond water.

NOTE: Microbe-Lift SA will accelerate the solubilization and biological digestion of organic solids in your pond. During this process, the oxygen uptake rate (OUR) in your pond will increase as a result of this increased biological activity. It is very important that your pond is able to support this increased oxygen demand along with your aquatic life's need for oxygen. When using Microbe-Lift SA, MAKE SURE that your pond is adequately oxygenated (>4.0 mg/L dissolved oxygen).

General Information
Sludge Away speeds the biological removal of slow-to-degrade organic waste matter found on the bottom of the pond. As organic solids accumulate on the bottom of the pond, they begin to break down and release toxic gasses to the surrounding environment. These gaseous by-products endanger fish, aquatic life, and plants.

Microbe-Lift SA removes organic sludge and muck on the bottom of the pond, reducing or eliminating the potential harmful gaseous compounds and helps to clarify your pond water at the same time.

Microbe-Lift SA contains natural cellular matter, selected biological accelerators, and special microbes proven effective in pond sludge reduction.
